Last night I ended up writing an alibi sentence and watching TV instead of writing, which was on purpose to give myself a break. Not sure how much writing I'm aiming for today ... we'll see!

I will host in May. I'm a little hesitant, because I'm getting my second Covid-19 vaccination tomorrow and hoping I don't come down with all the side effects!!

But I'll get things ready tonight to post, so if I do feel like crap I can just drag out the laptop and hit Post.

On the other hand, I may be just fine! Or at least fine by Saturday! Cross fingers!

Oh -- and I've been absent here, but wrote an alibi sentence today. 8-/

I wrote 396 words for the complete first draft of the annual graduation poem I write for my seniors. I give them a little gift (this year it's dollar store yo-yos) and attach lessons to the gift's qualities, so this year's theme is fittingly about the ups and downs of life. :-)

Putting my pilot on pause for a bit to work on a different project. I re-read my previous drafts and made some notes on what to fix.

Day 28: a net of 159 words of editing on my main WIP, and once I work up the wherewithal to come up with a better closing line and a summary, I will post it and be free! Also wrote 727 words on the other WIP.
