One of the reasons I enjoy having these posts go up on the earlier side of my day is that, if I haven't actually done any writing yet by the point this goes up, it's a reminder to do some. :)

A hundred words of work on a fic where I'm enjoying writing characters just having fun together. :)

687 words for me today, still working on the same story. I'm not sure what the bones of it look like anymore, so I'm letting all the parts be told, and later, I'll figure out the actual structure. (Probably, I need to also figure out what the climax is going to be, and for that, I have to determine the actual conflict. Go figure. ;-) Right now, I've decided it's just an experiment, with no pressure for it to ever be publishable. My only hard and fast rule at this point with it is that it can't be more than, say, 4K words.

Day 21 and 22 have been about making slow and steady progress on projects, including new ones that involved coding rather than just writing, but we got the words and commands done correctly and we continue to make progress on everything else.

April 22nd - 929 words, a challenge fic and a smidge of editing on a fic for posting.

Also, two hours of battling brambles in the garden, which left me with one arm scratched raw despite wearing a long-sleeved shirt. Those brambles are fiendish. But I won!
