My check-in: I've done a little bit more outlining this morning. Yesterday did not go as planned ... I ended up doing a lot of writing for work and just felt too burned out to do any of my own. I told my writing group that I would send them an outline tonight, so I guess we'll see if I can get it done by then.

400 words is great anyway but especially after you've had a long day! Hopefully both our days are better tomorrow.

April 20th - 550 words, a chalenge ficlet and I added 50 words to a 250 word drabble to make it a triple drabble. It was missing something, and now it isn't.

Also spent two hours digging in the garden so my arms feel like they might fall off. The garden fork is older than me, massive and heavy, and belonged to my dad. It's really not designed for use by a skinny, 5 foot tall woman with no muscles.

550 words, great job! I'm laughing at the image of a giant heavy garden fork that's older than you are. Sounds like the kind of thing that it's hard to justify getting a new one because it's not quite not working, but it also would be easier if you had a newer/lighter one ...

My mum had a smaller garden fork, but I think that's buried in another shed, inaccessible at present since I don't have time to empty the shed looking for it, so I'm using the one I can get at. I think it, and the other garden tools, were a wedding present, meaning it's about 65 years old. At least it's sturdy, which is more than I can say for me!

21st: Rewriting continues: I added 632 words to the story I was working on yesterday (mostly extending the end). Need to give it another read through and then send back to beta, but for now I'm gonna collapse on the couch and watch some Kdrama. :-)
